WHAT?
The Social Distancing Distance Challenge is a 3 day running event, featuring a 5k, a 10k, and a Half Marathon
WHEN?
Friday April 10th, Saturday April 11th, and Sunday April 12th
WHERE?
In accordance with social distancing (which we all should be doing at all times) This will be a VIRTUAL event, that takes place WHEREVER YOU ARE!!!
WHY?
Our world is changing, and the realities surrounding the novel Coronavirus are impacting us all each and every day. Everyday life has pretty much changed completely over the last month. The Olympics, March Madness, all schools, all major events, and of course all running events and races...everything is being cancelled! We as a nation and more importantly as the human race are trying to stop the spread of this disease and #FlattenTheCurve. That being said....Fitness and Wellness is even more important that ever. This is a stressful time! With gyms being closed, and your routine fitness classes likely cancelled....running and working out at home are things that can be done to keep you mind and body sharp. This event was created with these thoughts in mind. Whether you've had a planned race cancelled, or you're looking for something to do and train for, or even if your a weekend warrior looking to challenge yourself just because... This event is for you!!! Let this be a reminder to yourself, and the world, that despite this pandemic,
